Camping Jasper National Park up in the trees

In Jasper National Park we went camping, set up our tree tent and started dinner over the fire. A steady stream of over fifty people kept stopping by our campsite to check out the tree tent. It has caused us to meet quite a cool variety of people while camping. Hey, below we have a coupon that you can use for one of these cool tents.

On one particular night in Jasper, we met a dad that was camping with his son. They came over while we were cooking up dinner and told us a few great tips for around the area. As we were eating dinner he went and got his Cajon drum and serenaded us with his beats as we ate our meal and chatted about some of the best places to visit in Canada. Also the same evening a nice elderly couple from Germany asked if they could join our campfire. We listened to their stories discovering that he had been traveling the world for over 12 years! It was so interesting to sit and listen to a few of his experiences and places he has been, from visiting the indigenous tribes of northern Canada to hanging out with locals in Russia.

Canadians and campers are very friendly and talkative. Maybe it’s the camping experience and gathering around the fire that causes people to come and talk. But we think a part of it was our tree tent extended high above the ground, that got people to come over and start a conversation.

A treehouse nestled up high is such a cool adventure for camping. With views all around, expanding beyond what you would see from ground level. Also, it has provided quite the experience with nights sleeping under the stars. A few times the kids have played in the upper level and jumped around wrestling and having fun with the friends they meet. Out Tentsile tree tent has been very durable and sturdy, with no signs of their rambunctiousness. Expect for when we climb up into our beds late at night, and our pillows and sleeping bags have been disarranged everywhere.

Time to settle in the tent as it cradles and puts us to sleep. Another day full of memories and meeting new friends that we will not soon forget.
